UMMMM it's been OVER A YEAR since I last wrote a journal on here. And I still don't have much to say, since I'm never on here anymore... (Facebook is the new dA when it comes to stealing my soul.)

Every time I do randomly decide to check my account here, I'm always pleasantly surprised by the number of new favs and watches I have. Thanks, everyone, for continuing to support me even though I have basically stopped drawing O__o. It'd be a lie to say that I have absolutely no free time in college to do what I want to do, but the truth is that I've been in an artistic rut for a long time. So it's pretty cool to know that people still...care (vaguely)...what goes on with my page....haha.

I'm flying home to SJ this weekend to go to Fanime '08 with THE BAND OF FOUR, which, again, includes the combined awesome of:

I'm also very much anticipating the feeling of being home and in my own room; not that dorming isn't fun, but sometimes it's just nice to have your own space. UCSD is a cool place, but I think I've had enough chick drama to last me a lifetime.

Hi everybody!!! SORRY I'VE BEEN SO DEAD!!!!!!!!

So I have to tell you...I kind of just deleted everything in my inbox. It was really hard because I've never had so many amazing comments and poignant journals and random favs to respond to, but uhhhhh I'm a horrible person, so some of them dated back to like DECEMBER. And I've just been so swamped with school crap that I knew I'd never be able to adequately get back to them, so to everyone who has watched me or commented on my art in the last few months, thank you so so so much--I really appreciate it I read everything you guys send my way, and I feel really retarded and ungrateful for not responding, but I hope you'll forgive me TTATT

On the plus side, I'm winning the war on college 4-0!!!! WOOOOH! I have two more to hear back from, but I'm not expecting to get into either of them (UCLA and Stanford), so I've kind of stopped caring, lol. BUT AT LEAST I KNOW I'M GOING SOMEWHERE. YAY.

Oh, by the way, it was 's birthday two days ago!!! YAYYYYY HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY!!!!

So today the attendance runners came to our English classroom and dropped off an envelope. I was all excited, thinking, "Hey, maybe it's for me and I got mail for once in my life!!!"

AND IT WAS FOR ME! WOOH! I was so happy and brimming with glee! And it was from the California Scholarship Foundation, so I was so excited that I might have received some awesome scholarship for my stellar academic achievements (YEAH RIGHT.)!!!

I forgot about it until my mom picked me up from school, which is when I opened the envelope in the secrecy and comfort of our car.

HOLY OH MY GOD WTF WHO WOULD EVER NOMINATE ME FOR A MISS TEEN CA PAGEANT????????????????????????????? THAT'S WHAT WAS IN THE ENVELOPE. YEAH.

WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFF!!!! I AM SO BAFFLED.

It would seem that in 59 minutes, it shall be a new year--THE YEAR IN WHICH I'M GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL, OH GOD!

But yeah, I hadn't really thought of any resolutions other than the ones and I spewed at each other for no real reason. So here goes, even though of course I shall forget/break them all, like I always do XD;;; *FAIL*

~Write in my journal more often
~Work toward being more independent
~Do things when I say I will, and be more responsible and dependable
~Hopefully improve as an artist?
~Be less stubborn and thus improve certain relationships
~Set aside some goals for myself

I ALREADY BROKE ALL THE PROCRASTINATION ONES. (SHIET.) So basically I fail, but it's okay because I'm still looking forward to living out this year Wooooh!
